The ITC of the MOEA Has Completed a Negative Final Injury Determination in the Antidumping Duty Investigation of DRAMs from the U.S.
On February 29, 2000, the International Trade Commission of the Ministry of Economic Affairs ( hereinafter referred to as the "ITC" ) made a negative final determination that an industry in ROC is not being materially injured or threatened with material injury by reason of imports from the U.S. of DRAMs of one megabit and above that have been found by the Ministry of Finance to be sold in ROC at less than normal value.
As a result of the negative final determination, the ITC shall transfer this case to the Ministry of Finance for an official termination.

Product Description: The imported products subject to this investigation are DRAMs which are generally used as the main memory in a variety of electronic products including computers and computer peripherals, telecommunications equipment, networking equipment, and consumer electronics devices. The DRAMs subject to this investigation are currently classifiable under subheadings 8542.19.90.20, 8542.19.10.00 and some other subheadings of the Customs Import Tariff and Classification of Import and Export Commodities of the Republic of China.
