The ITC of the MOEA Has Completed a Negative Final Injury Determination in the Antidumping Duty Investigation of Uncoated Printing & Writing Paper from Indonesia and Thailand
On December 18, 1999, the International Trade Commission of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the "ITC ") made a negative final determination that an ROC industry is not being materially injured or threatened with material injury by the imports of uncoated printing & writing paper from Indonesia and Thailand that have been found by the Ministry of Finance to be sold in ROC at less than normal value.
As a result of the negative final determination, the ITC transferred this case to the Ministry of Finance on December 23 for an official termination of this case.

Product Description:The imported products subject to this investigation are uncoated printing & writing paper which are generally used for magazines, common books, instruction manuals, DM, accounting books, letter papers, calendars, desk calendars, posts, etc. Uncoated printing & writing paper is manufactured in weight ranging from 40g/square meter to 150g/square meter.The Uncoated Printing & Writing Paper subject to this investigation is currently classifiable under subheadings 4802. 52. 90. 10, 4802. 52. 90. 90, and 4802. 60. 19. 00 of the Customs Import Tariff and Classification of Import and Export Commodities of the Republic of China.
