On February 21, 2005, the International Trade Commission (ITC) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) made a determination that injury to a domestic industry due to importation of H-Beam from Japan is no longer existent, and that the expiry of the antidumping duty on H-Beam from Japan would not be likely to lead to recurrence of injury to the domestic industry.
As required by the Implementation Regulation on the Imposition of Countervailing and Antidumping Duties, the ITC through MOEA has notified the Ministry of Finance (MOF) of its determination, and the MOF will make a decision on whether to terminate the antidumping duty.
The public version of the injury investigation report in Chinese is expected to be available after March 15, 2005 from the website
http://www.moeaitc.gov.tw'or from the office of ITC's Investigation Division.
