ITC is Instituting a Preliminary Injury Investigation on Uncoated Printing and Writing Paper from Japan, China and Indonesia

On October 14, 2006, Ministry of Finance (MOF) determined to initiate the antidumping investigation on Uncoated Printing and Writing Paper from Japan, China and Indonesia and requested the International Trade Commission (ITC) of Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) to proceed with the preliminary injury investigation. After receiving the request from the MOF on October 17, 2006, the ITC instituted the preliminary injury investigation on October 18, 2006, in accordance with the "Regulations Governing the Implementation of the Imposition of Countervailing and Anti-Dumping Duties."
The determination in the preliminary injury investigation will be made before November 26, 2006. (Summarized English notice of institution and the inquiry of preliminary injury investigation)
