ITC Has Completed the Final Injury Investigation Concerning Antidumping Case on Uncoated Printing and Writing Paper
Publish Date: 2007-08-10
On August 3, 2007, the International Trade Commission (ITC) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) made a negative final determination in its injury investigation concerning Uncoated Printing and Writing Paper.
According to the negative final determination, the ITC found that an ROC industry is not being materially injured or threatened with material injury by reason of imports from Japan and China that have been found to be sold in ROC at less than normal value.
Under the jurisdiction set forth in the Regulations Governing the Implementation of the Imposition of Countervailing and Anti-dumping Duties, the MOEA shall make an investigation, conducted by ITC, as to whether there is any injury to an ROC industry. As a result of the MOEA’s negative final determination, we therefore transferred this case to the Ministry of Finance on August 9, 2007 for an official termination of this case.
The public version of the final injury investigation report in Chinese is expected to be available after August 23, 2007 from the website http://www.moeaitc.gov.tw'or from the office of ITC's Investigation Division.
