On April 10, 2008, the International Trade Commission (ITC) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) made a determination that the revocation of the antidumping duty on Type I and Type II of Portland Cement and of its Clinker from the Philippines and South Korea would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of injury to the domestic industry.
As required by the Implementation Regulation on the Imposition of Countervailing and Antidumping Duties, the MOEA will notify the Ministry of Finance (MOF) of ITC's determination, and the MOF will make a decision on whether to terminate the antidumping duty.
The public version of the injury investigation report in Chinese is expected to be available after April 24, 2008 from the website (
http://www.moeaitc.gov.tw) or from the office of ITC's Investigation Division.
