On December 8, 2009, Ministry of Finance (MOF) determined to initiate the antidumping investigation on benzoyl peroxide from China and requested the International Trade Commission (ITC) of Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) to proceed with the preliminary injury investigation. After receiving the request from the MOF on December 9, 2009, the ITC instituted the preliminary injury investigation on December 10, 2009, in accordance with the “Regulations Governing the Implementation of the Imposition of Countervailing and Anti-Dumping Duties.”
The determination in the preliminary injury investigation will be made before January 18, 2010.
