ITC Institutes a Preliminary Injury Investigation and to Conduct a Hearing Concerning the Antidumping Case on Float Glass, in Sheets from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand

Taiwan Glass Industry Association on behalf of the domestic industry filed a petition with the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to impose antidumping duties on Float Glass, in Sheets from Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. The MOF determined to initiate the investigation and transferred this case to the International Trade Commission (ITC) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs on May 6, 2022 for preliminary injury investigation. The ITC therefore instituted the preliminary injury investigation on May 10, 2022.
In order to proceed with the injury investigation of the aforementioned case, the ITC will conduct a hearing on June 7, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at room 201BC of the Taipei International Convention Center, which is located at 1 Hsin-Yi Road, Sec. 5, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. Those who wish to attend the hearing are encouraged to register with the ITC through the ITC's website www.moeaitc.gov.tw, or by fax or email before June 2, 2022. Persons signed up for presenting their views are also invited to attend the pre-hearing meeting, which will be held at 1:40 p.m. prior to the hearing, in order to arrange the sequence and time allocation of the presentations in the first session of the hearing. Foreign producers and exporters intending to attend the hearing should pay attention to our COVID-19 quarantine regulations.
